The deposit is a guarantee covering any damage caused to the vehicle during the rental,
as well as any charges due on return — such as a missing fuel top-up or the car coming
back with less fuel than agreed in the handover protocol.
Once the vehicle is returned, the deposit is released in full if no damage, missing
items, or extra charges are found. If any are found, the necessary amount is withheld
from the deposit before the remainder is released.
